Released in 1995, "Illusions" is the third album by German gothic metal band Crematory. Blending atmospheric keyboards, heavy riffs, and a mix of growled and clean vocals, it marked a key evolution in their sound. The track "Tears of Time" became a fan favorite, boosted by a popular music video. Illusions helped cement Crematory’s place in the gothic metal scene, influencing the genre with its melodic and darkly emotional style, remastered by Rolf Munkes.
