Croatian pagan black metal force Winterfront has returned from the shadows to unveil their long-awaited second full-length album, Chants For The Underworld , available now via Werwolf Promotion .


Formed in 2010 by Ivan Grga and Toni “Tertt” Jakus , Winterfront is known for their frostbitten riffs, raw atmosphere, and lyrical focus on war, paganism, and the eternal inner struggle. Building upon the haunting legacy of their 2014 debut Northwinds , their latest offering marks a bold evolution in both sound and spirit.

With production handled by the band themselves and mixing duties by Ivan Jurić at Sound Kitchen Studio – Kaštela , the album weaves longer, more immersive compositions that pay homage to the cold winds of black metal’s Second Wave while carving a uniquely Eastern European path. Fans of Taake , Gorgoroth , and Immortal will find a new ritual worth repeating.
