Shade of Sorrow

Shade of Sorrow is the solo project by vocalist / multi-instrumentalist Mika Kankainen, who has been involved in other Finnish death metal acts such as Warceremony. Last year, M-Theory Audio released his debut album titled 'Upon the Fields of Grief,' with production work by Tuomas Saukkonen.

"This song came as if by itself; the easiest and most creative project so far, quite sovereignly! At the end of the session, I said to my recording engineer that I have one more idea, and about an hour later, the body of the song was already in place. I decided that this will be released as a standalone single, since the style is so different from the rest of the material that I'm working on," shares Mika.
