“‘Dark Days’ was a true band effort,” says bassist Miro. “George, Viky, Oli, and Mike all contributed, and the chemistry was undeniable. Viky came into the studio fully prepared and crushed her takes in one shot—pure pro, pure fire.”

The band paired the release with a cinematic music video filmed at Maison Principale, a breathtaking historic cathedral in the heart of Montreal known for its towering arches, ornate stonework, and dramatic natural light—an epic backdrop for the song’s dark, brooding energy.

The video was directed by Chris Kells (The Agonist, Cryptopsy, Despised Icon), capturing the raw power and atmosphere of MetalX at full force. Behind the drums is Oli Beaudoin (Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows, Ex-Kataklysm), whose thunderous performance drives the track with relentless intensity.
