FIRST CONTACT is a dynamic new heavy metal project from Japan, spearheaded by acclaimed guitarist and producer RYU (of Blood Stain Child) with contributions from Sawa (of Aldious), and vocalists MaoMao and TanTan. Formed as a venture to explore fresh musical ground, the name reflects their aim to deliver something new—a “first contact” between listeners and uncharted sonic territory. Their debut album, PEACEMILLION, was released on August 20, 2025, and features tracks like “‑0‑UNIVERSE” (MaoMao on vocals) and “Against The Flame” (also MaoMao), among others
