Michael Schenker Group (MSG) is a hard rock and heavy metal band formed in London, England, in 1979 by the legendary German guitarist Michael Schenker (formerly of UFO and Scorpions). Renowned for its melodic yet powerful sound centered around virtuosic guitar playing, MSG pioneered a style blending classic 1980s hard rock with neoclassical flourishes.
