Sacrosanct

Sacrosanct is a progressive thrash metal band originating from the Netherlands, formed in 1988 by guitarist Randy Meinhard, formerly of Pestilence. Their music intricately blends aggressive thrash elements with progressive structures, creating a distinctive and dynamic sound.

After releasing three albums in the early 1990s—Truth Is - What Is (1990), Recesses for the Depraved (1991), and Tragic Intense (1993)—the band went on hiatus. They reformed in 2017 and released Necropolis in 2018, marking a significant return to the metal scene.
